Vista Rod Run Held Sunday, August 3rd

Vista’s 25th Anniversary of Rod Run was held  Sunday, August 3rd. This landmark occasion and festivities kicked off Saturday night with “Deuce’s Wild”,  an award winning film that was shown for the first time In San Diego county area at the Historic Avo Playhouse. Hot Rod fans enjoyed the story about hotrodder, Johnny Callaway.

Despite the  unusually, rainy weather, bright and early Sunday morning, hot rods and classic cars from all over the county (and a few from farther)  rolled into downtown for a day of beautiful cars and trucks, music and refreshment. Attendance was lower than expected but car fans were not disappointed by the  many beautiful cars.

Thirty awards were presented and local car club Country Gents did an amazing job promoting, parking, and supporting this event.  A BIG Thank You to all who were involved in the production.

Winners will be posted soon.
